BluePrint 3 Leak

Jay-Z's highly anticipated BluePrint 3 was leaked today through several audio download sights, although the album is available for download I don't think it will affect Hov's album sales. This album has a huge buzz and people are just gonna buy the album to have a copy; like myself. He's the best rapper alive and it's a piece of history. Overall, the album is great -he has great features and tracks. The album drops September 11. Go get your copy!

R.I.P. DJ AM

On Friday night the legendary DJ AM, 36 was found dead in his New York condo. Although a cause for his death has not been publicly announced , it has been reported that DJ AM had a serious drug problem and a pipe laying near his body. Just last year DJ AM and his close friend Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker survived a fatal plane crash in South Carolina where four other people died. Both of them were held in critical condition from third degree burns , he had just began to make public appearances again. DJ AM was definitely one of the most talented and versatile dj's of today. My prayers go out to his friends and family. R.I.P. Adam " DJ AM" Goldstein.

Everything is a "GO" ! GreenLight Mixtape.

These last weeks Bow Wow has dropped a hot track like everyday, leaving everybody anticipating this long overdue mixtape. Although he leaked about 10 tracks via twitter , I was still impressed with his work. The mixtape has 24 songs that will all make you have a different outlook on him , he is an amazing lyricist and could be easily put in the top 10 artists out right now. Last week he announced his new label Ca$h Money Records and I can't wait to see how this helps his image/career. This could be the next best mixtape since "So Far Gone". Don't believe me ?

Drake 2.0 ?

Roc-Nation's first signee J. Cole and his mixtape "The Warm-Up'" are quickly becoming the hottest things out. Ever since J.Cole came onto the scene , he has been compared to Drake , "The Rookie of the Year". Having a flow comparable to the Canadian heart-throb , a witty lyrical content and a look like Drake I can see why J.Cole could be more street-based Drizzy. His new mixtape is called "The Warm-Up" and after listening to it once I was hooked ! My favorite track on the mixtape is "Grown Simba" where J.Cole talks about growing up and wanting to carry the rap torch. Overall , I think J. Cole will be the next big thing because he sits under the best rapper alive, Jay-Z. I can only expect great things from him. The mixtape is amazing & I can't wait for another one.

Omarion Dropped From Young Money... Already.

On June 1st Omarion announced that he was signing with Young Money Records, appearing at one of the concerts on the "America's Most Wanted Tour" and giving a tribute to the late Michael Jackson by moon walking across the stage. But only weeks later, stated on Mack Maine's twitter page was "ATTN: Omarion is no longer Young Money..the song day leaked ft. Wayne is not official.good luck 2 him in his future endeavors.no further." this posts was then Re-Tweeted by other Young Money artists Lil Twist & Jae Millz. Word is Omarion was dropped for leaking this song ...
